UV and Me

 We were learning about Uv It is a pretty big topic so we narrowed it down a bit to make it a bit easier. We focused on uv rays and these cool things called uv beads that change colour when they get hit with a uv ray.

I found it easy to to add mote to my google slide because It wasn't that advanced all it does is read that sentence to you if you want to listen to the sentence.

I found it challenging to think of wonderings to answer for my research so I just write down what I wondered and went from there.

Next time I will make my mote more advanced by making it tell you more fact and information about the sentence.

Camp Kaitawa Activity sheet

 We were learning about making a google slide with mote we had to answer the questions on each slide with detailed sentences then do an animation at the end of our favorite highlight of camp. It was fun making the animation because it brought memories of what happened.

It was easy to make my polylined people and kayaks because the curve line tool makes it a lot easier. I used polyline to make the hair and swim trunks.

It was challenging to answer the question on slide six because it asked you what you would want to change for camp next year I couldn't think of anything so I put nothing.

Next time I will make my animation and mote more detailed because I think I could have done a better job.  

Sunflower Poem

 We were learning how to write an environmental piece of writing about a sunflower, that Mrs Bava brought to class from her garden at home. It needed to be detailed with emotive words and needed a rich word to hook the reader at the start of the story.

I found it easy to do the brainstorm because I can think of Ideas really quickly so then all I need to do is write it down.

I found it challenging to personify the sunflower so I asked a friend for a way to personify it, then I got the hang of it and did the rest on my own.

Next time I will challenge myself more and add mote to  my writing and make try to write faster so I can finish it in a reasonable amount of time.  

The Horouta Animation

 

• We were learning about the story of horouta, how the wake came. And around were they came from which was somewhere in the pacific triangle. The story explained that they landed at ohiwa and hit a sandbar paoa went off into the mountains to find a suitable timber to repair the waka.

• I found it easy to make the background because my cooperative group was pretty quiet and focused during there learning and were able to remind me how to do it.

• I found it challenging to create a maori person so I had to use my ten percent of google images on it.

• Next time I will create a more detailed, complex animation with mote to explain parts of the story.

Triathlon

 We were learning about writing a rich descriptive recount about our fun and exciting school triathlon at churchill park.

I found it easy to recraft and edit my punctuation and sentences in my writing.

I found it challenging to think of ideas for my paragraphs.

Next time I will make my paragraphs more complex.
