The Maori and English Names for Colors

We were learning about Nga Tae which are the Te Reo names for colors.

I found it easy to do the backgrounds because I just had to search up a color for the background image.

I found it challenging to remember the Te Reo names for the colors

Next time I will do Te Reo shapes instead of Nga Tae.

Fake Phishing Postcard

What did you learn about how to Identify a scam and what scams look like and what they can do if you fall for them.

What did you enjoy finding a background and creating my character.

What was challenging finding a background and writing my postcard.

What was easy finding a good stamp and taking a photo of me.

What will you do next time chose a different character and take the photo from a different angle.

Reflection of New Learning from Bikes in Schools Program

we were recapping about how to write quality recounts so I chose the topic of bikes in schools. Bikes in schools is a program which teaches kids how to be safe and know the rules on how to use there bikes properly.

We were learning about bikes with the bikes in schools program they taught us a variety of things about bikes and helmets that some of us had not known about. Like to keep your bunny ears on your brakes by putting two fingers on the front and the back brake.

I found it easy to Ride the bikes because I was taught when I was five. the bike check was also easy because they put into some of the letters in the alphabet A for air pressure B for brakes c for chain d for direction and Q for quick release.

I found it challenging to pass people when they were going slow because there were lots of corners on the track. It was also challenging to go on the pump track because there was only allowed 3 people at a time and because it was hard to enter the pump track.

Next time I will try to get on the pump track more often because I was to scared to go on because it was diagonal. I will also try to get as much laps of the track in as I can.

Native Birds

We have been learning about Native birds their habitat and their predators.

The digital learning object I've chosen to create is a google drawing because it makes polyline easier.

I enjoyed this learning because I got to learn what native birds are and facts about them.

One thing I would like to learn next about native birds is how much native birds are there.

A question I still have about native birds is why they like sugar water.

NZ Birds

We have been learning about Birds and how they came and got to different areas.

The digital learning object I've chosen to create is a google slide show because you can do multiple slides.

I enjoyed this learning because we were allowed to polyline a bird and add it to a slide.

One thing I would like to learn next about is why do birds need feathers

A question I still have about birds is what country has the most.
